Wiper growth rates

If a lake with a high shad population was stocked with wipers in 2005 and stocked again in 2006 what size would those wipers be??

At least 15 inches by the middle of the second year maybe larger.
If the water dips below 55 or above 95 they stop growing but according to another North Carolina study the growth rates catch up.

Of course, that fifteen incher is fighting like a much larger fish. A good deal of how the fish grows depends on the available forage. I read where the Indiana DNR puts 2000 wipers in a small lake in Anderson called Shadyside. I tried it a couple of times earlier this year, but could not even find the fish on the sonar. The water looks permanently soiled and there were no signs of shad, so I am not too sure how they have taken to that environment. Anyone tried that lake?

I know this is an ancient post, but it's a followup on the Shadyside Lake wipers. The DNR has stocked wipers there for quite a few years (since around 2000, inc. the past 3), & just this week (it's been in the 60s here), an angler caught/released an 18-pounder (I didn't get the details). I also saw some very large fish around schools of baitfish on my flasher last summer.
