Choosing the right kayak for the best gas milage

I would like to know what you guys think the top 5 or so Kayaks are and why. I am looking at a prowler 13 right now at Bass Pro Cataloge return outlet for $489.00. Are the longer ones better than the shorter ones. Does the 15' have any advantages over the 13'. I am leaning on the prowler for the pricing right now. But I want to get another 2 for the family. Can any one give some of the pros and cons. Maybe we could put all the info together into one read to make it easier to find.
