It's Ok we all do it. Well it does not make it OK be Oh well. What happens also is many folks see the thread and think I already saw it and don't reply so a post may sit for several days unanswered. A new thread always or usually has a better chance of getting answers.

I think you should be OK with the Sargus as it may have been a reel that Penn just renamed when they acquired Plueger or whatever company it was

No prob.... I wanted to show you I went for the pimped out penn-staal crazy reel. Paid under what a new penn conquer would be... sorry for the grainy pics. The guy also put all new parts inside. He also said that it was sprayed with 2 coatings of alumahideII.

Man... got it on ebay. I didn't think it was going that high but I paid everything $170.00. My highest bid was $180 which was my budget for a new reel. Last I looked bidding was at $130.... I think it's worth it, every time I tell a seasoned fisherman what I got I get that good nod of approval. Looking to put the bailess kit on it. Got to find the thread somewhere on the how-to.

Any suggestion for post fish care besides rinsing? What oil, spray? (no WD40)

THANKS... fished the outgoing this morning, nothing. Tried to go for incoming at raritan bay and got into a bad fender bender. I took the brunt of it, newb excitement and rainy roads. No one was hurt, his damage was a hole in his bumper the size of my fist.
