Freakin' tall ships!
Totally messin' up my access to the water. Security all over the harbor tellin' me I can't fish due to security reasons. One of the places (Black Falcon) doesn't even have any of them docked there and it's still closed off. So the only spots left open are heavily crowded now. I'll be okay... just needed to vent that out.

Re: Freakin' tall ships!
Okay so I'll totally retract my previous statement. Because of the fact that I've been kicked out of my usual spots, I was challenged to find alternative prospects. Man was I amazed. First cast out 24 incher. Then nuttin' for a about an hour or so. I move a few yards down, cast out bring it back zippo. Second cast out, WHAM! Boy did it nail it! Put up a nice fight for a notch above keeper. So this is my new testament; don't get too complacent and always challenge yourself, 'cuz there's always somethin' betta'. BTW, I love my new Tica reel, hope it performs like this for the long haul.

Re: Freakin' tall ships!
Sorry Gothooked,,, I'd edit it if I could, but I don't have priviledges in this forum. DanmacK,,, if you think you recognize the spot, it'd be better to keep it to yourself, or PM the guy if you want clarification. He was pretty careful to avoid burning his spot and you're not helping him out any. Do us a favor and edit/delete your post,,,, or one of the mods who have the tools in this forum should do it.

Got hooked, I congrats on finding a new spot. There is no better feeling then finding a new spot for a given tide or whatever.

Re: Freakin' tall ships!
Thanks for the assist Jake and Jim. Danmack really didn't let the cat out of the bag too much. A lot of people seem to know about the area I was at, a good amount of people were there when I came by it. But I do try to abide by the guidelines and make nice when I'm posting. So once again thanks for the help.

Re: Freakin' tall ships!
BigK, that particular one came home with me that night. Some of it hit the grill, some hit the fryer and some went to my dad. Perfectly legal fish at 29" and 8lbs. Why do you ask?
