.62 thru wires/ tuna fishing

has any one tried the nj tackle thruwires for tuna? i was wondering how well they would stand up to blue fins wen i go to boston... also has any one tried making hard or soft plastic lures here?

I occasionally do X Heavy hardware versions of some of my plugs for offshore.
1300# swivels and 1/16" Wire - ER 316L

I got about 200 3' lengths for $35 shipped about two years ago
Have prices gone up that much

Go to your local welding supply shop and ask for a 1 pound tube. Each stick is 36 inches long. Check out http://www.airgas.com/browse/product...5&WT.svl=18865

i got the 10 lb box from airgas for under $50...i was able to drive to an airgas store...a 25 minute drive for me.
