Hudson River Striper Update

:twisted: Anyone catch stripers on the Hudson lately? I was fishing at the Troy dam yesterday (Saturday), but not many hits from anything!!!!! Caught a few herring, but nobody was gettin a bite. Not even from shad. Please keep us posted on the striper reports.

Yes,,me & my bud were out then also(5/22)down in Newburgh,,we went south 2 Cornwall. We were amongst a parking lot of about 40 boats. We got a total of bout 18 fish. The biggest 32lb,,got a few around 20lb,& a bunch in the 12 to 15lb range,,& some 5 to 7 er 8lb's. Was a good day :mrgreen: Was the 1st trip out this year where they were finally hitting eels(the bigger 1's)& a lot on bloods. We're thinking of going out again Sat.,,the 29th,,,not sure though if there still gonna be there though,,like the Sat before anyway.
