For anyone involved with last week's bite at the Big Ditch, congrats! Boy were we lucky to have been able to take part in that-hopefully it'll happen again sometime over the next couple weeks.
Obviously it is inherently difficult to predict the movements of large striped bass. However I do think it's possible to at least get a general
sense of where to begin one's search for big striped bass.
Some very nice reports from some excellent anglers fishing Buzzards Bay certainly helped a few of us striper addicts get a sense that those fish may soon move through the Canal, which they most definitely decided to do throughout last week.
So far the bass in my neck of the woods are once again falling into the same general patterns of the past few seasons. The big push of fish through the Cape Cod Canal last week, will hopefully be followed by another big push sometime during the next week or so.
