Only 'angler versions' / fishing models come with rodholders. Generally, you can add them yourself & save money. It's very easy. To mount a Scotty, it only takes a few minutes to drill 4 holes & bolt it on.
Tippiness will vary from yak to yak. Generally wider is more stable, but sometimes slower. Some yaks have more initial stability (how easy it moves at first), some more secondary (moves easy to a point then sort of stops) Beyond any boats secondary & you'll swim.
