Default NH/MA Surfcasting

My father has been out fishing the past few nights. Couple bites, nothing really substantial yet. I haven't heard enough, had enough time, or felt like the temperatures are quite right yet. Anyone have any news on Seacoast NH, Maine Coast, or Northern Mass Surfcasting yet?

David

They're here, the time is now to get out and start fishing. Was down the Saco River yesterday, couple kids were catchin Shad, another guy up a little ways seemed to be pullin' em in left and right. A group of meat heads showed up on the other side of the river (must have been 6 or 7 of 'em, swillin beer) and landed a schoolie, not sure how big it was but big enough to keep. My buddy and I headed to Camp Ellis after that and while we didn't see much action in the water, the guy at Chevy's Bait and Tackle said they've been catching 'em for a couple weeks now. We took one last look down the beach in front of my house and there were birds dive bombing small schools of baitfish out in the surf. They are DEF in now, much earlier than usual, at least here in North Country. Thinkin about soaking some worms tonight if my buddy gets off his ass and digs some today while I'm at work.
