Default Re: Tailwater stripers

Heres a few examples of tailwaters. You will hear the word spillway used interchangeably with tailwaters. A spillway controls the level of water in the reservoir. And the tailwaters are a result of that spillway. Some are uncontroled and are emergency spillway for excessively high water levels. Many can be dangerous when discharging water and should be approached with caution and fished by experienced boaters who know the generation schedules and water levels.
