Fishmaster Wollaston, Mass - From 1946 to 1955
Jerry Sylvester made the flaptails for them. Jerry started making lures in the late 1930's, and continued to do so until the late 1940's. Sylvester then turned to the Fishmaster Co. to produce two of his lures: "Jerry's Flaptail" and "Jerry's Jointed."
"Ferron Fishing Products" Jerry Ferron was a fisherman, lure maker and tackle shop owner from New York. Ferron manufactured tin squids, flaptails, swimmers, and poppers, from approx. 1940-1950

Does anyone fish them, or they just too valuable to fish? why doesnt someone do a flap tail today? why has the flap tail fallen off as a popular design? f it, i might just have my buddy make one and fish it and find out for my damnnnn self. Thanks Jimi!:a_goodjob:
People fish flap tails now often for Muskies Muskie go berserk for the tail slap on top of the water. Not saying stripers wouldn't. It is a very prevalent technique for Muskies.
These are made By Hawg Seekers A lot of Musky stuff would Translate well to Striper fishing I think
