Out for a couple of hours this afternoon to test the new nav/fish finder we put on my buddy's boat. Few cats heard some guys caught some shorts. Guys at stc sports has some decent reports
Ok here is my report after being allowed into the group.
I live and fish the beaches between the bridges cbb-dmb, ive been fishing bloodworms and in the last 3 weeks ive caught 7 shorts all from 12"-17" had some big bites, lots of line peeling, but landed nothing of size yet.
Ive seen one fish 32" this past week caught, and heard some rumors of others, but cant confirm.
from last weekend up until yesterday i started seeing baitfish activity, and more and more cormorants and other bait fish eating birds in the area.
this cold weather will no doubt take its toll. with a big striper tournament coming up here in south jersey, and warmer weather i have no doubt we'll start seeing some bigger fish soon.
Thanks for the report. It will heat up now with this nice stretch of warm weather.
