Default sweet spots in RI

i know you who are clicking on this right now... expect to learn where the sweet spots are... and im sorry to inform you im actually ASKING where they are... ive only really been going off the rocks at point judith and the piers over there.. im bringing someone fishing and i would like to see some action.. anyone have any advice? and what to use? poppers? jigs? chunking? lol

Ohso You wont get an answer to this thread at least not publicly. Spot burning on the net is a no no.
For obvious reasons and maybe not so obvious ones. Theres nothing like showing a guy your favorite spots then a few nights later being crowded out of it buy the guy you showed and 10 of his friends who showed their friends. In fact its stupid. Its best to learn how to read the water and fish your waters by trial and error and armed with an educated guess and some basic knowledge. Look for holes with your depth finder or visually look for breaks over sand bars and rips formed by submerged structure.

You might want to pick up a copy of Frank Daignaults book striper hot spots. Im not advocating it nor endorsing it but it gives vague and not so vague info on spots. He rates point Judith a 2 out of a 5 for inlet and jetty fishing.
I saw in another thread you asked about parking. There is ample parking outside the gate and in 35 years the military has never closed access as he knows it.
Swimmers at night poppers at day. and chunks

the hunt is part of the fun what fun would it be if someone just said go here and you'll catch a gazillion fish...than it wouldn't be fishing it would be catching right...

put what he said size your lures to the bait fish you see in the water the manhadden are good size this year at least the ones I've seen...
