Hello from Arizona
Hello Folks...
.....I came across this forum looking for information on old Penn Senator reels. Seeing that the forums about Stripers, thought I'd sign up,
I live in Arizona and they've introduced Stripers here in some of the large lakes. They eat just about anything and everything, seriously depleting some of the local species of fish and frogs, as Menhaden or Mackerel are not on the menu.
Grew up in Huntington Bay ,NY right on LI Sound and fished for Striped Bass just about every year. No records, but a lot of fun.
Lived on the Big Island for six years, caught lots of Billfish and Tuna, Got to fish in the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament (HIBT), our team did well that year up until the last day when the bite was on.
Look forward to hearing about the Striped Bass fishing back East.
Thanks,
Robert (radioactive)
