I'm an avid paddler that now owns a Trident 13. I have light tackle gear for freshwater, but living on the coast (North Shore of MA), I'm going to spend more time in the ocean hunting for Bluefish and Stripers.
Looking at equipment online (basspro.com, cabellas.com, ...) there is just too much selection with little advice.
So, please advise. What preferred equipment (brand or specs to look for) would you recommend for slow trolling? For casting?
Lots of options there bro. you're right. I usually use a 7'6" St. Croix from my 15' kayak. I wouldn't go much longer on a kayak rod than that,,, just something to keep in mind
