The loom is loaded with almost 400 individual threads and ready to start the weaving process



And now the weave is started. About 20 turns/wraps so far. Too early to see the pattern



Now I am about 75 percent done and you can see the image developing



Now the main image is done



Here you can see the trim band done on top of the image



And now here is the whole weave including both trim bands. Next step is to apply the finish

Much better, thanks John. I'm trying to buy into this weak core strength that my therapist tells me caused the herniation, doing different excercises, even sitting on my girlfriends excercise ball and not on the couch,lol, hope it works, don't wanna go under the knife! Wish my old doctor was still around, his machine had me straight in a week the last time it happened.

Yes. Avoid the knife at all costs.

When you have a chance let me know what I owe you for the reel. I am actually thinking of auctioning it off to help a friend in need but not sure yet.

If I don't and I want to use that as a surf reel do I need to use some grease or something in the spool to waterproof it?
