the weather was calm this morning..........

super slow troll anything that resembles a trout / carp/ or chad.
the channels crossing the marina to the inlet is about 150ft.

if you do see a boil , HAVE A SWIMBAIT ROD READY AT HAND.
small 4in chad ( huddelston ) has been proven to catch fish for me at d.v.l. and silverwood.

i do see most swimbaiters using the B.B.Z. around and on the points.
a guy caught a 11.6 lmb on the BBZ LAST 2 WEEKS.
if you have any Z,s................. toss it out as far , and let it float.
every now and then TWITCH THE HARD HARD.

best to use this method near strutures or boiling trout/chad if any seen.

wish i could ( dvl ).
that lake is free of asking, L.M.B. STRIPERS ON THE SHORE, AND FAT TROUTS.
HEARD MANY LIMITS ARE CAUGHT IN HRS.
rumor has it, THE LOCKNESS OF STRIPERS are showing up around 2 am til 4 am at silverwood.
ran up into a fella WHO swears , and wrote it in his own blood.lol
they are so BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGG, that it scares the hell out of him.
these fish come up to surface in search of trouts.
so i made plans to leave at 12 am friday night and fish till 4 am or so.
depending on weather, i,ll probably stay till 6 or 8 am.
THE GATES ARE OPEN A 6 AM.

IM BRINGING BIG SWIMBAIT.

Yeah. Dvl is a good lake. Its actually one of the best ones that I like going to. Stripers get big there quick.

But yeah. About silverwoods. I know there's some MONSTER stripers in that Lake. I haven't heard of any big ones coming out of there lately. I remember like 3 years ago before I move to texas I use to see pics of 30, and 40lbers. Are they still getting big ones like that?Man how I wish I could hook one up. Even if he breaks off at shore. Just knowing I had a big one lol.

That's the kind of action I'm looking for. it would be nice if there wasn't so many people using there boats there to races and there jetskits. Like they do at dvl. That way the fishing would be better. But we have the whole summer to fish. Its going to be a good year. This is my first summer I'm fishing for stripers with swimbaits. I'm new to swimbaits as of stepmber of last year. In texas not many people use swimbaits. So I'm gald I'm out here again. Looking forward to the warm weather and good fishing that so cal has.
