Zim,
You working Sat morning? I plan to fish 5-10 am, dropping tide down here, then off to the kids soccer game I go......hopefully, bringing home one fish for the grill. You got nothing going on, c'mon down, I'll show you around my neck o' the woods....we got an ocean down here!
Just as a side note, I've caught 4 stripers since putting on my new S247 hat.........coincidence? I think not.

Ed

What we really need are guys familiar with the areas to run separate threads for SI + western LI, eastern LI, and south Jersey.

Any volunteers ??

That's a good idea, we need some of the locals to jump in.

No fish yet on wood, or rubber, or plastic, or teasers, but it's gotta happen any day now.....the last 4 fish I've caught have all been rambunctious!

I can post at least twice a week on Brooklyn, since I fish at least twice a week in Brooklyn.

Fished the local bay in Brooklyn, very scattered bunker cruising at night occasional splashes. Used to chunk bait for absolutely nothing. Hit the surf for a bit to get all the crabs you can imagine like 5 or 6 at a time of a piece of bunker.

Other then that very quiet still.
