Default Boston Harbor

I had a revelation last night. I went to Houghs last night and what did I find, SQUID and tons of them. The bass were honed in and would not touch any other bait. I tried live lining a pogey ,that I snagged, under a float and they wouldn't touch it. Finally I picked up a couple of squid off of people who were jigging them and WHAM. I got 1 36" and 1 27". Sorry no pics I forgot my camera. I'll have it this weekend.

Nice work! I've been live lining the pogy's in Boston Harbor with some luck but having issues with the bluefish. I'll have to try using squid.

Match the hatch, and you will catch.

I used to jig up squid a lot last year and live line them for stripers. I had little luck but it was pretty fun catching the squid with my freshwater rod. I would dead stick a live squid and just jig up squid with my yo-zuri squid jig. Extra squid can be used for calamari.......yum.
