Right now, he is horny over anything that moves. I put in some live brine shrimp and he likes to pick and choose which ones to stalk, then he sucks 'em down lol. He's funny as hell. He's definitely got personality, and he DEFINITELY knows whats goin on. These fish are FAR from dumb creatures. I have read extensively on them for about 4 months now, and what they say is true....Lionfish will become used to their masters presence and soon recognize you when you go the tank. I see mine lookin out at me, and he is becoming used to the daily routines etc. His blue eyes are WICKID! And I can tell just by watching him and his eye movement that he knows whats up!

BTW, I named the Lion after Chuck Liddell!!!! LMFAO. His name is "Chuck Rubble". Just call him Chuck though, and you wont get sent to tha husspital!!!!

Here's an AV I made and might use soon lol.......this is Doink the Clownfish

Doink is awesome, you should see him go after the magnetic glass cleaner! LMAO. He doesnt like anyone messing with his front glass, the front of the tank is HIS hahaha

BTW, one time, I went to the tank and the Lion looked up....I opened the lid and stuck a piece of silverside in......he rushed to the top and tried to gulp it down, but he missed it somehow. I was happy to see him try that so early, but then I was pissed that he missed it, and ofcourse he didnt try for it again. I've been trying to get him to do it again, but havent been able to yet. But I think he is acclimating well. hopefully soon he will try to rush the top again! 8)

Updated pics of tha Saltwatah tank. Finally picked up a decent digi-cam I liked. I added about 25/30 more pounds of live rock since the last pics. Filled the tank out alot more.

Very Nice JB. The tank looks awesome. Very impressed. How has that puffer been agressive or cool?

He's been pretty much ok, however he goes at Doink every now and then, and tries to nip his fins. He succeeds sometimes. In some of the pics you can see Doinks tail has a few nip marks lol. I have also seen tha Puffah go after my hermit crab and snails, but he cant get at them. I yell at him when I catch him trying to nip.

Rubble finally came out to play a little...

That tank is way awesome. Be careful with the hermit crab. Especially with expensive corals and stuff. He will eat everything in the tank when he gets bigger. This I know from experience.
The puffer will leave the hermit alone once he realizes its futile. If you get another puffer make sure its the opposite gender, otherwise the dominant fish will harass the other one to death just like big oscars do to each other. I had to make a seperate prison tank where the PIA's went.
Puffers, triggers, hermits and starfish and the biggest pia of them all the snowflake eel. Sadly :) He is no longer with us. ;)
