Thanks for the info. It's out of stock @ Cabela's, but I placed a backorder.

i've seen em in one of two shops in so. jersey. i forgot which one for sure but in seaside one shop had them. you can google it and see what comes up. not sure why but, they were not a great seller but braid was not as popular back then as now. i don't baitfish but in the spring like in a week or two and would not be without it as they have been on my 11footers for a good ten years or so. if all else fails, tape,,,

Question Soft Baits?

What soft baits do you recommend for stripers? Thanks.

Another essential - and fairly inexpensive.

Diamond jigs - 005 to A47 - rarely would you need a 47

If i had $50 I'd buy:
TA 175 pound fast clips. Then learn an Alberto knot to tie on to 80 pound flurocarbon or Mono leader material to save $$$. no swivels needed if you fish braided line.

Lures would be Bucktails 3/4 to 3 oz from Andrus with red & white pork rind
tins from kastmaster 2 oz.
poppers from Super Strike
swimmers from Rapala x rap.

for night time
darters & needles from Super strike
bottle darters from north bar.
same bucktails & swimmers as above.
never fish rocks without korkers!

yeah baby
OK enough. Hook sizes small to large: ,,,6, 4, 2, 1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0.....The 0 is NOT ocean it means BELOW ZERO. The smaller the number the larger the hook . Just like ga. of shotguns or wire.
