Welcome to the site! I'm not from your area so I may not have the best tips pertinent to where you fish, but if you're fishing for monsters... be sure to have your drag set properly.

Where are you fishing for Stripers? In a salt lake?

sorry so slow.....been ill. I only fish freshwater, usually lake Havasu Arizona. Depth is fairly shallow..usually troll in the 15-30 ft range. I believe max depth is 50+. My boat is a 24' Searay and per the fishfinder trolling speed at idle is .7-1 mph. I use many different lures bought at the local Bass Pro shop (cant remember specifics) and have decent luck netting 1-5 fish in the 2-5 lb range. My Raymarine fishfinder shows (3) different size fish symbols when in use but I dont really know what difference in "actual" size is? The Pro Guys say Strippers can get as big as 40+ lbs here. Any suggestions on how to catch the "Big" ones? I thank You in advance for any advice
