Hit tha mahsh with a friend 'bout 5:30. Outgoin' tide was already full-tilt. Threw some plugs, had a few pops. Saw some bait sputterin' in the shadows of Pickle Cove. No Bassy's though. got another report of some schoolie action at the bridge and in the harbor. But I usually disregard ANY reports around here until May 15th, on the dot. Anyhow, threw some plugs and worked 'em hahd, got the pluggin' juices goin and rid of some rust. Felt good. Weather was beautiful out there and as the tide got lower just sat in the lawn chair as the sun went down. Ended up going to another friends house after and pretty much getting the whole night ruined lol.
Reminds me why I constantly fish throughout the season, instead of dealing with those that dont lol. As I get older, I realize more and more every day that the guys I fish with and have only known a short period of time are the people I would much rather be around. Weird how things change over the years. Maybe it's a lesson. I prefer the company of people I see seasonly and that have the same immediate interests as me, over those who I have known for years and consideredf my "best friends".
Guess I'm just "all partied out" and slowin' down
Fish will be in next week.
