I received the exceeded quota message when I posted this evening. I deleted all my uploaded pics and figured that might be the reason. What I didn't know is that all pictures I've uploaded into posts the last few months are no longer there. They weren't that important anyway, and I can always post more, but some of the site tutorials have great pictures. It would be sad to have those all deleted.
Rick im not sure I understand what you mean. The is no quota limit on the attachments. but rock also had an issue this morning.
Delete all in the user control panel? Ill trouble shoot and see whats up?
Jim... When I got the exceed quota message, I was uploading a picture. I ended up going to the user control panel, then miscellaneous and then attachments. I had a mess of them. I deleted them and was able to upload the picture, but lost all the pics in my previous posts.
Ill see if i have backups - I have a script on the server that puts them in a seperate file. the challenging thing will be to find which ones were yours.
and of course I have to find whats causing the error . No worries.
same with me jim , i didnt have a lot there but it said i excceded my quota also .so i also deleted and found that the pics on those threads are gonzo.
Mully and Rick try uplaoding a picture to see if there are any more problems with quotas.
I will have to look and restore the old ones as I come across them.
Theres no way Mully should have had a problem unless the new fishing log usergroup overrode the permissions. If thats the case its fixed.
I had support take a look too and they couldnt find any problems.

Guys dont delete attachments because if they're removed from the folder they're gone - copies need to be located and manually put back.
On many I copy and upload directly to the server. The script copies them to a file also.
No worries though. Ill put em back where I can as I see em.
If you run into threads where you see one of yours just reupload it if you have a copy on your hardrive.
I think I did a bad thing.
