New to the forum

Hello all,

New guy here, just joined today. I have been fishing since I was a kid, but only got into surf/saltwater fishing in the last few years and have learned through multiple skunk parties that it's a whole different ballgame. I have had some success, but I still have A LOT to learn, so I have joined the forum with that in mind. Looking forward to reading a lot and asking questions and hopefully being able to add to the forum as well.

I live in and fish the surrounding area of Guilford, CT but I also fish in Maine when my wife and I go back to visit our families.

Hello all
I am a avid saltwater fisherman and I love to kayak. I love powder coating the old Penn fishing reels and using them to slay the fish.
I know I am not a local up there but used to live in middletown,Rhode Island where I caught some massive stipers 67in @ 64 lbs it was a blast! Caught that fish in the dead of winter and it was snowing my waders froze to the rocks at satchuest point where the locals said I wouldnt catch anything but I did. I miss rhode island. The charlestown spillway was awesome to. I am glad to be aboard with tons of fish stories and pics to back them up.You just gotta love fishing forums.Best place to learn and meet awesome fisherman and fisherwomen.
