Has the only action been at night? I would think I would want to fish outgoing this time a year as the warmer shallower water filters out. Do you agree?

Went out Sunday night and fished high tide and the outgoing tide. Nothing at all, threw out some beautiful salted clams and when I reeled in they looked just as good as when I threw them out there. No signs of bait fish, no birds diving, nothing. Going to check out a different spot this weekend, a spot where I have had better action in the past. As always I will let you all know how it goes.

Caught my first fish of the season last night just south of Laurence harbor. Fish all weekend on the incoming and first hour of out outgoing and saw maybe 6-8 fish come up. Still early and slow. Dont believe any reports that are saying the fishing is fast and furious.

Hit high tide last night and was a real good night. Picked up some fresh bunker from the bait shop and when i got to my fishing spot the bunker were everywhere. I did not need the bait i purchased at all Snagged fresh bunker all night. Ended up with three fish and a skate. I also had alotve runs on bunker heads where the fish did not get hooked properly.
