Default NewB here with a few questions.

Hey guys,"Gals?". I recently moved to Lake Havasu AZ and have found an interest in Striper fishing. I have caught these before but as a kid and using an anchovy sitting on the bottom. I now have a boat, and have been checking out the multiple posts and treads on here. But I have a question, Do most of these techniques apply to freshwater fish as well? I see most of every gear used is huge. I'm trying to figure out whats really needed for freshwater Striper trolling, using Jigs and Lures. I guess, the Zara's and Bucktails with curly tails are big right now, but looking at BPS, I have no idea what size I should even be looking at. The record out on this lake was 36# recently I believe. I'd be happy with half that, if someone could point me the correct direction, I'd appreciate it.

I've always wondered how a tube and worm rig would produce in the lakes. If you give a tube a shot I'd be interested in hearing your results.
