I know it is not saltwater but Rhode Island opeing day last year. it was about 35 degeees and blowing, raining, snowing and sleeting. fished for 6 hours with only two fish. Then when taking the boat out of the water my emergency brake cable got stuck on so i had to take the whole thing apart on the side of the ramp with frozen fingers. I dont think I have ever been that cold.

Not sure of the year, maybe around 1993. We fished the monster shark tourny out of the Vinyard. Heavy wind on Thursday. We broke an outrigger and an antenna on the ride over. Friday we fished in 12' to 16' seas. 17 out of 70 boats fished, the rest stayed at the dock. We broke the other antenna off the tower. You couldn't stand in the cockpit with out holding on to something. We caught 3 makos and a lot of blue sharks. Drifted 15 miles.
