Roe-Jan Creek is open and flowing nicely!

I noticed today on my way home from work that the Roe-Jan creek was wide open and flowing nicely. Since this creek flows directly into the Hudson, this is a very good sign. I noticed that the Catskill Creek is also beginning to open up! WooHoo!!

took a ride this morning the wappingers creek still has some ice where it dumps into the hudson but not to worried for the past 3 years ive landed my first striper around the 18th of march.. its almost that time again.

On my ride to work this morning across the Kingston Bridge noticed that the ice is breaking up pretty good leaving some open water. A few more days like this and it will be all broke up waiting for the tides to drag it south.

Weather report for tomorrow is cold again, but with heavy winds. The winds are what will break the ice up faster.

East side of the river just south of RVW bridge, before you get to Germantown. Almost across from where the Catskill does.

Next 2 days of Rain & mid 40's will help flush out some of the creeks.
