blood worms

i use mostly blood worms, but they r expensive, they work great if theres not a school of perch swimming by, nothin is worst then casting ur line, and instanstly gettin perch munchin on ur worm. But if theres no perch around, lettin ur work sit for 5-10 mins, usually u will get a striper hit if they r around. I fish from shore, so i dont know where the stripers are, i jus have to get lucky to have a school swim 50-100 yards from the shore, and where i fish from in Cornwall, the hudson is one of the widest parts at that area

I don't really think about the price of bloodworms. What are the prices up there for a dozen?

as of last year they were $12 a dozen, im hopin it dosent go up this year. But i dont really care either about price, as long as im having fun and catching fish. Ill probably start fishing here in cornwall in 2 weeks, let it warm up

There is a few places around here that sell them for at $8.00 to $10.00 a dozen. I couldn't agree more that as long as I am fishing the price could be $20 a dozen and I would still fish.

Maine bait has them for $65 for five dozen which includes a $15 shipping fee.
