Hudson Valley Blood Worms

Anyone know what the farthest north i can buy blood worms? Never see these in albany bait shops....or is chucked mackeral a good bet?

Not sure about the Mackral or Bloods. Can you get Sand Worms? I like Bunker and Herring.

It's probably a long haul for you, but the new Gander Mt. store in Kingston carries both sand and bloodworms.

I know of a Gander Mountain in New York also, I stopped there once, its nearish the great lakes. There was a thing on OLN about some kid that was bornw ith disablities or something, but now is in charge of the fly tying dept there. He went fishing for Steelhead with some other dude. Good stuff. Not that this has any relevance to anything, haha.

Just here last week. but the bait shop doens't open early, opens at 10 like the store. And while I have a fishing buddy nearer than me, it's still a haul. But its good to know. I still got a bettr buy on downrigger rods and bait reels with line counters off the net....now if we could just make the tides stay on our fishing schedule we'd be good to go....

Hay Eddie, IM going to be fishing the Trod dam in a couple weeks. Where can I get live Herring in that area?
