Hi all this is my first time on this site. I'd like to say thanks for all the advice forehand. I would like to know what you think the approx date the stripers will run up the deleware. I'm planning a trip to pennsville in late march would like to know what you think of the sucess and bait stratigies. Great luck and full live wells. Jason
in pennsville if your going to fish from shore you will need blood worms but the perch will hurt them some guys are makeing a blood worm pouch out of the netting brides use on their face but in red color to protect the worm if you have a boat with bloods stay in close with bunker go out to 24 to 32 foot deep in strong current you will use a fish finder rig with 6-8 ounces just steak out the bunker 3 to 4 pieces per fish and be patient when they bite wait till they are swimming away with it i have caught 100s of very large stripers in pennsville this way the bunker just doesent seem to work without the current so go deep is alot cheaper than bloods
