Get there NOW!!! This is the finest large Striper fishing I have personally seen in the past few years. The trout plants have drawn in the big ones and it has been a great bite on the large plugs, AC Plugs, Side Swimmer 250, and BBZ are all working this past week. Fish to 23 lbs. have been taken especially in the morning hours. There are fisherman getting there to be in line as early as 2AM, I think this is stupid seeing there is only one lane open at the ramp and most have to go through a lengthy boat inspection that takes time so there is no rush to launch private boats. Shore fisherman are scoring fish off of Striper Point . It's a joke to sit back on my boat and see fisherman fighting over who's got to there spot first like a bunch of little kids!!! As long as the big stocks continue the big ones will be there all season,that's great news to think about.
