I saw that, going to be a mess when that breaks. I really haven't fished the area much by this creek. Tried walking back there looking for herring once. All I was rewarded with was numerous ticks.

I drove over the Normanskill yesterday on Delaware Avenue and was shocked at how low it was.

Now i know why

I use it as a gauge for how bad the river will be and was pretty happy when i saw it so low ...... oh well.

They say it will take months of moving the mud and debris to clear the slide. That's going to be a lot of sediment going into the Hudson making the water murky

I wouldn't worry about it too much ...... the slide is several miles from the river and it is a small creek compared to the river.

I doubt it will have too much of an impact.

The water is flowing totally normal now. Whatever they did, worked.

They dug a channel to bypass the slide, normal flow now. According to the paper, the golf course was dumping fill on the bank since January, did not get a permit until March.
