Kennebec River Conditions

Rivers gone dry and my Gout is
acting up!!!
Hopefully fall run is smashing will need a lot of water to come down river...
200 Stripers plus
Biggest 40 inches.
Still will hit river here and there..

Fall Run is underway and is looking to produce some really nice fish.
Over 20 the other night and last night 6 over 30 inches.
Will post some pics of bigger fish soon?

Nice! Are you finding fish upriver, or closer to the ocean? Still definitely summer conditions in my area , but expecting the fall run to start soon.

Me and the Boy hit one of our secret Striper spots and sure paid off.
15 all over 30 inches biggest 38 inches..
Fall run is definitely on in my neck of the Woods. Last night produced a fish almost every cast!!!

Okay here we are October 1st and much needed rain like 6 inches is coming down.
Hopefully brings water flow and bait downriver to hungry Big Cows...

Here it is March 7th thinking about Striper fishing already..
Going to be a super early Spring..Very mild winter up here in Maine..
I say things start 3 weeks earlier that last year..
Time will tell

Been watching the Migration run..

Right now real low water levels but that can change real fast..

I knew it was only a matter of a few days before these Gems started trickling in on their migration run..
This is the ending long journey to spawn all the way up here in Central Maine.
We know what is not to far behind them????

How'd it go? I've been thinking of going soon. Worked today around the Nonesuch Estuary and saw a bunch of people out there.

Started my adventure to Saco River around 3a.m.
Got there first light tide was starting to come in..
Had a few guys fishing across from me..
About 30 minutes into it Fish on..
Caught 3 within 30 minutes all over 28 inches. All were released unharmed..
Should be a few more weeks before they
are up my way..

First Striper 2016 caught in Kennebec River in my neck of the Woods..
Nice 24 inch schoolie..
Starting to trickle in now..
Can't wait for the big one's.
