Connecticut River Stripers???

Has anyone gone yet? I just came back from the Chicopee boat ramp and that water is high and really flowing.
If anybody is going out onn the CT river here in MA BE CAREFUL!!!!

I saw several Large trees going down river.

Haven't tried for any Stripers yet...but did a little Cod fishing...

Ya a tree could do some serious damage...the water is really flowing now with all this rain...

Last year I almost hit a telephone pole that was floating in the harbor...luckily I wasn't day dreaming... :D

Someone in my office has a family member who bought a new sportfishing boat and took it out early on by himself, just coming back into the Block he hit a pole that went right through the hull and he had just enough time to put his life jacket on. Luckily for him there was a fishing trawler nearby that saw it happen and plucked him from the water.

I have seen a few small dock boards and such out there so gotta have the eyes on the water
