Hello everyone im new to this forum and would like to know if its still to early to be fishing for stripers/wipers this time around since alot of our rivers are still flooded. Has anyone tried out saylorville lake or red rock lake yet?
Re: Is it still to early to fish for striper/wiper??
The DNR fishing reports that came out today suggest 6-8lb + wipers have been caught lately below Red Rock. They mentioned some white bass below Saylorville, but didn't report any wiper catches there. So...Sounds like below Red Rock is the place you wanna be right now. Good luck!

How's the wiper bite lately? Been wanting to go out wiper fishing since its the closest thing to a striper around the midwest. (from the east cost, but now in MN) Caught a couple of nice ones Saturday. Two wipers measuring at 27inch and a 28inch.
