Default indian river delaware

Will be at indian river inlet sept 29 to Oct 5, shore fishing the inlet. Can anyone tell me what fish to expect and what baits I should use other than bucktails, relatively new to saltwater fishing, was down for opening week of the state park in June and fishing was terrible, hope it improves with cooler temps. Thanks all

I like plastics, divers, rat-l-traps, slug-gos, and silvery ones.

But I'm not familiar with your area, so who knows?

Lots of Flounder, croaker spot and tog will open then as well

Stop by Bills Sport Shop on Rt 1 and talk to the guys there - they will set you up

You will want to have gulp swimming mullet, assorted size jig heads (1/4 to 1 oz) - fish them as a spec rig

Also, use small hooks and small baits or Fish Bites to catch the spot and live them them on bare hook or jig heads for striper and flounder

Finally - get green crabs for tog!
