Default Okuma Reel question.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and am just getting into striper fishing. I will be fishing for freshwater stripers in Beaver Lake Arkansas. I am looking at buying 3 Okuma Magda Pro Star Drag Reels. I am trying to decide on the 15dx or the 20dx. Does anyone have experience with these or could tell me if the 15dx is big enough for the fish I might catch? Thanks.

I've never used these reels but it never hurts to have more line on your reel so i would go with 20dx. I wouldn't buy three reels at the same time. I would get one first and see how it holds up, if it's a good reel for my application i would go ahead and buy the rest! Good luck!

It also depends on the pound test you are going to use.

MA-15DX 330/10, 290/12, 240/14 5.1:1 23" 13.2 oz.
MA-20DLX 290/14, 230/18, 210/20 5.1:1 23" 13.8 oz.
MA-20DX 290/14, 230/18, 210/20 5.1:1 23" 13.8 oz.
MA-30DLX 510/15, 420/20, 310/25 4.0:1 24" 17.3 oz.

But I also think the 20 size would do you well, for the lake.
