I haven't gone lately but a friend of mine did and the picture is on my website on news/blogs on the left side of the home page. A aqueduct 7.2 striper.

has anyone evr tried jiging plastic worms in the aqueducts?
this is one of my favorite ways to get a reaction strike from bass.
just wondering if stripers will do the same?
any tips or coments welcome!

oh ya is it legal to bring out a small grill to cook fish in at the duckt?
i have been told as long as its an enclosed fire its okay?
also been told no fires AT ALL?
so again any help would be apretiated!!

Hello J. Owen,
I would call the DFG if I were you and also I would call the Forrestry Department. I would think the answer would be no. Due to the winds and sparks up there where it is real dry.

cant wait to get out to the duct!
going this weekend.
does the bites get better durring the fall season?
since it cools down i am hoping to get some big bites
tried top water poppers last time
and hope to get the same strikes again
mabye with a better hook up
not just strike and run
any advice on how to get a better conection
between the fish and the lure?
evry strike would just be a strike
no fish?

i may be wrong about this:

set your hook further back on your swimbaits.,

as fast stricking fish grabs the tail first.

dodo i think your rite. thats what i think il try first im new to the top water deal so im surprised i even got a strike at all. i thing it might be also that my reaction time might be to slow by the time i get the bite, set the hook it may be too late
thanks for your advise,
best of luck!!

Sharpen your hooks before each use. Even on a brand spankin new lure fresh out of the box. A razor sharp hook will many times dig in when a slightly dull hook will not.
