theres a bunch of parking right near where you fish about 20 feet away. make sure when you go you drive down past the ramp and drive around and theres parking right there. Last night though there where a bunch of people there maybe about 15 rods total, guys next to me caught what looked like to be a small cod, only thing a caught was a skate but at least the people show a good sign. Im gunna head back probably around monday or tuesday to try again. Does anyone know where to get fresh mackerel i go to P&J'S on dorchester avenue and its only frozen and they dont have bloodworms thanks guys

Your going to be hard pressed to get fresh macks around Boston unless your catching them or know someone with a boat that has.....all the shops in the area usually only have frozen....you might find a school or two of them around falcon now so keep a sabiki rig handy....

Fished north of BF last night into the am and pulled 2 shorts.....missed some bigger guys...

Ok last time I am going to say it if you choose to fish there (which I don't because its a meat hucking festival which isn't my scene) your going to continue to catch skate there until the middle of next month!!!! Do some more spot searching and you could have a keeper today there only about 5 miles away!

I thought skates were bottom feeders.... would a lighter weight / longer leeder / bobber help ?

There has been reports at Black Falcon that HUGE bass are everywhere and anyone with a rod is catching them. THEY ARE ALL KEEPER SIZE AND FATT. I'm going down there now. It's crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are tons of pogies too so bring your snags and an extra few poles.

I was just making a joke because of the canal thread. But I believe 5/0 sent you some info. He knows his stuff. So whatever he told you was probably worth pursuing. Good luck

Ceasar , we were at Black Falcon yesterday . A lady on our left caught a skate and then a guy on our right caught a skate .... then I caught a skate ... wonder iffin' it was the same one all around ? ... !
Lol....... and another guy pulled up a lobster ! ...lol.

We did enjoy listining to the red sox game and hanging out with the people there . The building kept us in the shade all day and the weather was great . The word is ... when the Blue's start running the place will be jumpin' .
