Default I AM SO HOOKED !!!

well, it all started when i caught my first striper, i was hooked. i started surfing the web to help increase my knowledge for more successful trips.
then i discovered the plug building section...well i have always had a passion for art. in high scool art, wood shop, metal shop, and graphic arts, were my favorite classes...anyways, it was stripers 247 and its participants, special thanks to roc, which inspired me to mix two passions of mine, art and fishing. the more i learn the more obsessed i become, the more time i spend in the workshop. i am now doing something i love, for that i am greatful.

I hear ya man,it's great to be able to combine two passions together, which is why with the designs I've jumped all over it,and hopefully one of these days I'll be able to join you in front of the lathe. Now if I could just figure out how to combine baseball with fishing I'd feel like the richest man who ever lived.

Yeah I wasn't being sarcastic, it's definately awesome to combine two or more of your passions together it just simply makes it all the more enjoyable, and when you catch fish on those plugs more rewarding.

I do, the son and I go to the field and I cast a baseball and the boy has some extreme pop-fly practice.

Ain't everyday that a kid can catch 450ft fly balls!

set your hook through the thread about 1 inch from the lettering, i use 30lb florocarbon leaders, and 20lb braid, circle hooks work best. flip the bail and pitch. make sure you have plenty of line on your spool, a big hitter tends to make one long run.
