Default Which lakes along I-75 for a 1 day stop?

I'm going to Florida in late March. Anyone have a suggestion on which lakes along I-75 for a 1 day fishing stop? I'm thinking about Norris Dam or Chickamauga Lake in Tennessee. But, we could go anywhere.

Get ahold of Don Schleicher, he's a charter guy on Lake Percy Priest just outside of Nashville, TN.
He'd put you on some fish for sure that time of year, tell him LMJeff sent you down!
I'm fishing with him mid May.
Let me know if you get in contact with him!

Well, here's a big oops, Don and Nashville is off 65, now I think about it!
You could catch it off 65 through Louisville on the way down, or 24 from Chattanooga on the way back up.
At that time of year, try Lenoir City, Ft. Loudon Dam, on the TN river, I'm trying to set up a trip w/Slo Ride toward end of March, ?? we could hit it together!
What dates you going down, or coming back up? I'm going to head down on a Thur, night to fish Friday and Sat., back Sunday, Probably 3/23 or 3/30

Thanks. That looks like a good spot. We'll have short notice on picking a date. I'll be retired by then but my buddy is still working. Stay in touch; this summer I'll be able to get away to fish.
I'll be in Cincinnati the weekend of 3/23 but not fishing.

Retired? :)
You old farts get all the breaks!
Actually, you've paid your dues, congrats for getting to do what you want when you want, to some measure.
God bless,
Jeff

Watts Bar Dam between Knoxville and Chattanooga is a great spot with hog stripers.
