thanks Suds, good eye... I'm kind of fond of his style of needles, they work well up here..

I made floaters from WRC, slow sinkers from rock maple and titanic sinkers from mahogany for the fast water.

Beautiful needles Joe!

Are there times when you will throw needles instead of slow-trolling the rEEL thing?

Hmm... good to know Joe.. might motivate me to switch up my routine a bit next season and spend some time working the dark with the fly rod, just for a change of pace :)

Thumbs up Re: From the cave..

You don't mess around with the paint!
Stick on eyes? Todd from Smack is using the stick ons on his prototype crankblade, until he can get a mold made with eyes.
They look a little morbid after a few hook ups, or after you smack them up against the wall of the dam a few times, but still catch fish!
:)
Great work, I'm beginning to understand your sleep deficit signature.

Jeff,

Those are 3 D stick ons ( I also use glass eyes on special plugs)but i epoxy them in place, then the entire plug is coated in epoxy.,,, they last as long as the plug doesnt get splintered by a gorrilagator....
