Ah goes without saying. Mull. Gunny knows he's the man. The spring gathering is going to be something special.

Hey All,
It was a great time, glad we could finally make it! I thought I had a lot to learn but then meeting all of you and seeing you fish made me KNOW I have a lot to learn. Couldn't ask for a greater bunch of guys. My girl's pink pole is coming in today so I am sure that we will be out fishing soon as she get's back from London...(where dogfish is used in fish and chips and is quite delicious!). Speaks, Jess and I will be down in the chatham area fishing the beaches and out on the boat all weekend columbus day. if anyone wants to hook up for some fishing time just drop SPEAKS or I a PM.

Oh well, back to work....bahhhhhhhhhh

I'll agree with that commemt. The thing must be 14 inches long. So much for using dark plugs at night. I'm already thinking about winter plug building and a couple of those need to be on the list.

And on Colad's dogfish comment: "...(where dogfish is used in fish and chips and is quite delicious!). " I didn't know they were any good. With all the dogfish that get tossed back, you can feed an army. How do you prepare and cook them. Are they really good..or only good if your from the UK

14" [email protected] 4 ounces... full moon.... white... they would only bump the dark ( blues and blacks) plugs very softly, never realy hooking up, they smashed all the white offerings....like they were the last supper....giants, Atoms, danny's all worked, they just HAD to be white or yellow.

Hey Zeema,
As Fish and Chips they are delicious. Get some of you favorite fish fry, soak the fillets in milk for a at least 3-4 hours and then coat them and deep fry them up. We made them ourselves a few weekends ago and we were all shocked at how good they were. I mean shocked. Needless to say I won't be throwing any more decent sized doggies back. I still hate catching the things but at least now they serve a purpose.... SPEAKS back me up here!

Thanks Roccus for the plug pic. I'll be making wood chips this winter.

Thanks Colad for the Dogfish recipe. I've seen a few good recipes on this board. I'll have to search out a few and put together a Striper247 cookbook.
