Default Braided Line + Heat

I know the last place to leave your fishing mono/reel on a hot summer day is in your car. Do braided lines get damaged by the heat as well?

SW
Im not sure its the heat as much as direct exposure
to the sun and ultraviolet rays. The UV damages the
monofilament line. I dont believe that braid or flourocarbon
for that matter is as susceptible.

UV will break it down very slowly. The heat of a cars interior won't affect it a bit.
Unlike my Lami S Glass Smb1123 that I left in the trucks internal rod rack and is now shaped like a banana

It'll be alright and it's not the first time it's happened. I just have to duct tape the rod in it's correct shape to the houses main hot water pipe and keep it there for a few showers, loads of laundry and a few dishwasher cycles and it'll be as good as new.
