Red Top Sporting Goods down by the canal. Call ahead though. Stopped in there a couple of weeks ago and they were out of the size/color I was looking for.

Hey Randy,
KayakFishingStuff.com has 20ft rolls for $17. They usually carry burgandy red, chartreuse, and hot pink (I understand the red, but don't ask me why they picked those other colors), but are currently out of all but chartreuse. I'll dig around and see if I can find another source.

Hi Randy-
Tried these folks? http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/vinyl-plastic-tubing/
I've used them in the past for rod building stuff, ship fast.
Simple, straight forward no B.S. sorts. They've plastic and latex in assorted colors / sizes.
Natural latex can be easily stained to darker colors too.
I've anouther site (somewheres) that supplies natural colored latex in long lengthe up to 3/4" dia. I'll look and see if I can find it.
Gary
PS; Here it is, http://www.4fishin.com/surgical_tubing.htm
I've yet to order from them yet though.

Nice! I'm leaving town Friday on "vacation" if you can call it that. Will be back Sept 10th, Monday. Going to Missouri to visit family. I'll be ready to wipe the dust off the kayak when I get back
