Default Bubba Blade Fillet Knife Giveaway!

Stripers247.com would like to welcome our new sponsor Bubba Blade! The Bubba Blade is a series of knives that stay sharper longer, resist rusting, and hold up under the harsh environment of saltwater fishing. The Bubba Blade also features a no-slip grip handle that gives you a great grip even when wet or slimy, so your hand does not slip into the blade. For more information on the Bubba Blade, check out their website at www.bubbablade.com.

And now, a special giveaway for our members! Just answer this question: “What is your favorite fish to eat and your favorite way to eat it?” If you don’t like fish but are still interested in participating let us know what your favorite fish to catch is!

All who provide a reply will be entered into a drawing and one lucky winner will receive a 9” fillet knife! We will draw a winner on 09/25. Good luck!

I don't eat fish, but I do catch, prepare and cook them for friends and family. My favorite to catch would have to be bluefish.. Or of course Stripers!

Fresh King, Coho or Sockeye Salmon. Fillet and remove skin. A dollop of rice or cracker based seafood stuffing (shrimp, crab meat scallops & seasoning) on the fillet. Baked till done. White rice on the side, with sauteed sweet onion mixed in (Vidalia is good) for flavor, and either fresh Asparagus (baked & seasoned), or steamed Broccoli.

Mako or swordfish- lightly seasoned and grilled. yum!

What I catch- Fluke/Sea bass; some of the best white fish you can eat. Baked with some butter or maybe breaded.

Trigger ala “ Hook I “ The very first time catch / ate Trigger fish right here of the coast of NY/NJ fishing for Sea Bass and Black fish , clams and crabs as bait THE MOST delicious fish I have ever ate . The major problem was my knife is not very sharp and strong to cut thru the tuff skin.

Trigger fillets, flour, salt ‘pepper, 2 eggs, 1 beer of choice, ¼ cup Canola oil, 1/4 stick butter

Med .heat Canola Oil & butter
Add salt & pepper to the flour
Dust Triggers fillets w/ flour
Combine 2 eggs in a bowl (Wisk)
Dip the flour fillets in the eggs
Then back to the flour and back to the egg
GENTLY place the Trigger Fillets in to HOT oil
Open the beer and have cold bottle touch your lips, past your gums and down your throat and into you belly!
When the trigger fillets are golden brown (about when your beer is gone)
Lay the fillets on a paper bag and your ready to eat ..Enjoy
