Hi all. Since I cant have a custom rod built at this time, due to the guy being busy, I am gonna wait till next winter, and for the meantime pick up a good but lower-cost rod for slinging plugs and maybe a live eel every so often. I have read excellent reviews about the newer Tica Dolphin series, and after looking at a St. Croix, have decided on the Dolphin as it is able to load up about an ounce more weight. Problem I am having on deciding is the grip type. On the Tica site, they have listed another 7' 1-piece Dolphin surf rod, with "Grip Type B"....
Grip type: A
Grip type: B
I see that the new "B" grip type rod is just a tad lighter in weight at 180 grams. But I am unable to find a photo which refers to the different grip types. Does anyone know the difference between "A" and "B"? TIA
