Default New paint station...

Two weeks ago, as I was applying a final coat to the top of a multy layered paint job, my Badger 150 coughed up a paint ball and yaked a big black splat onto the side of a plug.... the tyraid i threw brought the 'Coise running thinking I cut off my arm or something.... well when the cursing stopped, I expalined that this had happend way too often, and totaly dissassembling the brush after each plug was un acceptable.... I then went on to tell her that I was purchasing an Iwata 2500 for my detail work ASAP and the two badgers would be left for heavy work.... well She got me my new air brush for my birthday, so I've ordered rebuild kits for both badgers, the 175 and the 150... the 175 sprays metalics perfecly, even does fine work, it's draw back is the exposed needle, which, a cluts like me bends every time i use it... the 150, although a light brush, handsomly built, is a spitter, no matter the paint brand or mixture... anyone that owns an Iwata, loves it.. so now I need to turn some lumber and get it ready for paint...

Here are some pics of the manifold and station I made to accomodate my new addition..... all drops have independant zero pressure drop regulators and in line coelescing filters, the brushes are staggered so no matter which one you use, it doesnt interfere with the other...The holders in the pegboard have been epoxied in place to keep them from moving, thus lessening the chances of a dropped brush.

Because every time he see's Roc's work, it gets him all excited, as we all do, but he has the hots for you. Zim is a freak, as we all know and love, he just needs to take his Meds.
Back to the Roc, As the warmer weather approaches and I will again be able to get out to my barn after the 18 foot snow drift allows me to open the doors again, I now have another idea to make my life easier.
